Blanket Chronicles: God and blessings.

I got woken up because it was too cold just now (just now meaning 4:30 am), because my cover slipped off the bed, which caused the duvet to be bunched up in the cover. Shaking it out did not work, believe me, I tried and only succeeded in shaking off my sleepiness. I had to locate the zip, something I found on the last side of the cover... by that time I was wide awake.

The point was very clear: if The Lord wanted you to work, do you think He cannot make it happen? I mean, bloody blankets on a regular night. I wasn’t even tossing that much. If this manner of persistent issues can arise with just that blanket just so a point is made...

Do you think He can somehow miss you with His blessings because of your circumstances or because it is “not logical” for your blessing to happen? If He can make you work (and you believe that), do you also believe that He can also bless you, and that He wants to?

He has incredible aiming... and I speculate cough that He cannot miss. Not because He cheats, but because He made the game, the rules, is the Umpire and the Sponsor of your game. It’s almost like Dumbledore to Gryffindor: can’t miss.

Dumbledoring in your favour since time immemorial.

Believe it! He wants to love you. Even His rebukes are gentle and His yoke is light.

We all, are the players and strangely, the spectators. And He said: love one another like you love Me. Which seems to say now: play well with each other.
