On Time-stamping Joy.

A few days ago I had an awful feeling about the nature of my work.

Today I loved it. Reason? Time-stamping.

I had to prepare some documents to be sent out to some people for their signatures and documented approval, and the documents were numerous. Believe me, I had no idea time-stamping is this fun. It reminded me of the time when I carved potatoes, messed with paint and made kitschy cards for people.

It made me chuckle in the quiet of the office, grinning at the serious-looking documents. They almost disapproved, but I was merrily sullying them with ink and date. They must have been scared and I didn't care, for I could do much worse. Like time-stamping them twice.

Yeahh I'm such an administrative badass. Chuckle

To think I was unsure whether to stay or go just yesterday, whether I'm more suited to be on stage, Gaga-esque with jewelled knee-high boots and a tasselled mic - I'm not, not yet* - but that's another story for another time.

And slowly, I'm growing into this position, this placement. I think I found joy.

*Perhaps not ever. Hur hurr
