On Beauty, Wisdom and Wealth.

...I have a theory. Wanna hear it?

It's about the relationship between Age (Wisdom), Wealth, Power, Beauty, and Youth.

Here goes:

I have a very practical theory about the dynamics between Wisdom, Wealth, Power, Beauty and Youth. Power is almost but not quite Wealth and vice versa, but are similar enough to be called one and the same in this instance. The two are also tempered by age, or obliquely, Wisdom. Thus Wisdom is paired with Wealth/Power, but for convenience's sakes it will just called Wisdom/Wealth as opposed to Wisdom/Wealth/Power.

(Because, in short: with Wisdom you get Wealth and Power. Capisce?)

So. Beauty and Youth are also almost one and the same, except Beauty also encompasses Talent. Because youth is beauty. Thus the pairings are: Wisdom/Wealth, and Youth/Beauty.

Wisdom/Wealth admires and covets Beauty/Youth because a wealthy and worldly-wise someone usually would have exchanged youth and thus, beauty, for Wealth which would have come with Wisdom. When Wisdom/Wealth is finally possessed and Youth/Beauty lost, one naturally misses and thus appreciate-admires what is now not in one's being. After all, it is often when we are not something that we recognise it in someone else.

Youth/Beauty, on the other hand, with youthful naivete and poverty (in experience and material) finds accidental (consequential?) protectiveness in an admiring Wealth/Wisdom - and is thus a flattered muse, which in turn delights Wealth/Wisdom with its presence and company. And that's how you get the lovely dynamics between matured rich people and sparkly young things, Talents a plus.

And that, is my theory on Beauty and Wisdom.
