It's so easy to become proud, knowing that The Lord has so favoured you with talents and good looks - enough to put you on stage. But what's behind the glamourous position for worship leaders and the church band?
Are there politics, "the grind", unpleasant people who have the miraculous ability to inhale air and exhale sarcasm? Egos, maybe? Or is it really sunshine and roses, and people really do give God their pride and pla nice?
My friend, Junjie (we call him JJ for short), is a great person to ask. He is multi-talented, and is certainly well-utilised in Singapore's Christian music circuits and he can tell aspirant musicians about the good the bad and the ugly. In fact, you can find his thoughts and life experiences here: jvworship.blogspot.sg.
Thoroughly worth a poke-about if you're wondering about serving in the glamourous side of things in church.
