taking after my Dad

these two days have been pretty confusing, with me asking The Lord what's going on, what I should do, that please guide me and stay by my side.

I communicated this to a lady friend and colleague, who also had similar dilemmas about her work, and prayed for guidance. shenton way kept popping up, from church to the additional office space there and my own desire to head on over.

long story short: you will realise in an unmistakeable way that He speaks. and He doesn't talk in circles. you ask a direct question, you get a direct Answer.

you have a direct request, you get a direct Response. literally, what you want and you ask for, you will get. seek and ye shall find, He said. and has kept his principle and his promises to be with us, each step of the way for He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.

This is our God.

for those who don't know how to pray - just talk to him. out loud. start there. and watch Him answer you in ways you never thought would be used. and yeah, He's full of surprises. makes me smile, He does.

and that's why when people tell me i'm always so happy, i think "i take after my Father."
